Ethnicity question

Shouldn't he be called African American or Black, why call him Senegalese?

Profile in NYTimes

Nationality

According to the NYT article referenced in the previous section he does not (yet) have Italian citizenship or an Italian passport, though he's lived there most of his life. Given that and his quote from the NYT in which he says "sincerely, I don’t need a piece of paper to define myself as Italian," I changed the nationality back to Italian-Senegalese for now. Khaby Lame - Outfit v. Skin

@Revirvlkodlaku: I edited the wording from skin to outfit since, in-game, cosmetic 'skins' are referred to as outfits. This is understood from both the in-game locker (where you can change cosmetics) and promotional material, where they (the game) refer to 'skins' as outfits.

I've been uncontroversially revising all the mentions of collaborations I can find on Wikipedia to match this observation, changing 'skin' to outfit every chance I can. That is why my edit summary was 'uniform name', so this mention can match all the other entries in its style and accuracy. ~GoatLordServant^(Talk) 14:42, 20 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Birthplace

I see that his birthplace is mentioned in Wikipedia to be Dakar. However, a few sources^[1] state that he was born in Ziguinchor. Furthermore, there is no reference in Wikipedia to the current birthplace. Should it be changed?

True... Rotten Tomatoes isn't all that reliable. However, I can't find much sources stating anything more than "Senegal" as his birthplace. Well, I found that when I search up Khaby's place of birth, I find Ziguinchor.^[3] Of course, it cannot be put as a reference, but could we consider that?

Citizenship
