For the interested, some more media coverage

[edit]

Conservatives trashed NPR's new CEO for being 'woke.' But the truth is far more complex., USA Today Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 09:04, 9 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

That's an opinion piece from a non-notable USA Today writer. Not sure what's compelling enough in there to include in an encyclopedia. Fred Zepelin (talk) 16:41, 12 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Is there some rule I'm unaware of where coverage needs to be from "notable" [sic] writers? jp×g🗯️ 05:52, 13 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I do think that this falls under WP:RSOPINION. OTOH, it probably does represent the conventional wisdom on the topic. I take Gråbergs Gråa Sång as having pointed it out for this latter role, rather than suggesting we use it directly in the article (as they did not). Russ Woodroofe (talk) 08:19, 13 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I did not, but I don't think it would be outlandish to use it as a source, something WP:PROPORTIONate in-text attributed (depending on how we use it) as USA Today opinion. I have no actual content-suggestion atm. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 08:26, 13 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
