Norway

i'm not sure if the source is really that serious, since its from reddit. Vesparaw07 (talk) 06:19, 27 November 2023 (UTC)

I'm also sceptical of the source as well which makes me think it should be removed. Violatie (talk) 08:30, 27 November 2023 (UTC)

Georgia

Georgia have opened ranina 2024 submissions the source is Euroviox ItsAnthony99 (talk) 18:47, 28 November 2023 (UTC)

Same source states that GPB haven't stated if they intend to participate. Just opening the applications for your usual national final doesn't mean it will be used to select their participant (HaKokhav HaBa for Israel in normal Eurovision 2022 and Polstjärnepriset for Sweden in the Upcoming Young Musicians 2024 are two examples). I’ve found another source about Georgias participation and I think this confirms they are participating here’s the link: https://www.instagram.com/p/C0NEgBEt_v-/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== ItsAnthony99 (talk) 17:06, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
Social media posts are generally not reliable sources (see WP:SELFPUB). ―Jochem van Hees (talk) 17:14, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
True but there is 70 percent chance that that it will be the selection for Georgia and that they will be participate ItsAnthony99 (talk) 17:43, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
Georgia will participate I dmd Georgia Eurovision on insta and they said that Georgia will participate but I’m not to sure if it’s reliable or not ItsAnthony99 (talk) 22:06, 29 November 2023 (UTC)

United Kingdom

United Kingdom have confirmed Participation via Instagram https://www.instagram.com/reel/C0LicPwtZwJ/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== ItsAnthony99 (talk) 18:23, 30 November 2023 (UTC)

Social media posts aren’t usually reliable - this account is small & has bad grammar, therefore I can’t trust it.
idk if jesc uk has an instagram account, as yk kids don’t have instagram. but, i don’t know too much about all of these social media accounts anyway Eurov7sion (talk) 19:32, 30 November 2023 (UTC)
and BBC has their own Eurovision account. the Junior Eurovision UK account is just a fan account imo Vesparaw07 (talk) 21:54, 30 November 2023 (UTC)

United Kingdom Participation Confirmed

Eurovision Insider has revealed via Twitter that according to Sun Media the Uk have started Jesc 2024 preparations and will compete with a dance song ItsAnthony99 (talk) 16:23, 13 December 2023 (UTC)

North Macedonia Budget Approval

Per this MRT PDF, it appears that the Junior Eurovision budget for North Macedonia has been approved. https://mrt.com.mk/sites/default/files/%D0%97%D0%B0%D0%BF%D0%B8%D1%81%D0%BD%D0%B8%D0%BA%20244_0.pdf Violatie (talk) 04:02, 24 February 2024 (UTC)

It's go to know that the money is there should they decide to participate. Hopefully an announcement either way will come soon. Grk1011 (talk) 16:57, 24 February 2024 (UTC)

TVP vs. NRK

I don't understand TVP at this point. We haven't publicly said anything about JESC, with which there was said that an announcement was due in june. idk what that means. Vesparaw07 (talk) 10:25, 16 May 2024 (UTC)

NRK is not the only Norwegian member of the EBU, as TV 2 is also an EBU member. So even if NRK stated they did not intend to participate TV 2 could; additionally NRK may change its mind. However because the source doesn't mention NRK or TV 2 specifically, to include them here would be a WP:SYNTH issue. Sims2aholic8 (talk) 12:09, 16 May 2024 (UTC)

Italy

I read that Simone Grande was selected to represent Italy 109.176.113.2 (talk) 09:50, 21 May 2024 (UTC)

Belarus

Belarus is neither sourced nor an EBU member...can soneone delete this? Vesparaw07 (talk) 08:54, 25 May 2024 (UTC)

Germany Selection

Germany will announce the results of their national selection on July 1st ItsAnthony99 (talk) 15:18, 19 June 2024 (UTC)

Semi-protected edit request on 2 July 2024

Scotland also confirmed non-participation: https://eurovoix.com/2024/06/24/bbc-alba-junior-eurovision-2024-participation/ Tobypl (talk) 16:54, 2 July 2024 (UTC)

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Geardona (talk to me?) 18:35, 2 July 2024 (UTC)
It is already mentioned in the article, in Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024 § Associate EBU members. ―Jochem van Hees (talk) 23:34, 2 July 2024 (UTC)

Moldova & Montenegro

The cited source claiming their non-participation does not actually provide any link detailing that they will be absent. The article simply notes that they have previously participated in Junior Eurovision but have not confirmed their intentions this year. In fact, Montenegro has expressed that it is broadcasting the event but not whether they would participate in the last update. Aaboucher.ajb (talk) 20:45, 8 July 2024 (UTC)
