Why is this article here? besides propaganda?
[edit]how do we nominate this for deletion? 50.9.109.170 (talk) 03:24, 30 October 2011 (UTC)
- Wikipedia:Notability NYyankees51 (talk) 04:37, 30 October 2011 (UTC)
- and how is this dead child notable? besides pro-lifers propaganda?
50.9.109.170 (talk) 08:37, 31 October 2011 (UTC)
- Please note that articles should only be prodded if they are clearly non-notable and their deletion is likely to be uncontested (except maybe by the creator). This article certainly does not fall into that category. Take to AfD if you feel it is not notable. -- Necrothesp (talk) 11:20, 31 October 2011 (UTC)
- The general guidelines for notability are given at WP:GNG with more detail for events like this at WP:EVENT. To nominate an article for deletion you should follow the instructions at WP:AFD. I very much doubt you will manage to gain consensus for deletion, given the depth of media coverage that this case generated. Catfish Jim and the soapdish 12:39, 31 October 2011 (UTC)
little help here. I like to nominate this propaganda article for deletion
[edit]can someone do that please or point me to the right direction? 50.9.109.170 (talk) 02:52, 3 November 2011 (UTC)
- See Catfish Jim's note above. --Kenatipo speak! 04:38, 3 November 2011 (UTC)
- If you start the procedure, as explained at WP:AFD, I will complete the parts that IPs can't do. However, considering the sustained coverage in the news in two countries, as demonstrated by the references given, it's very unlikely that the discussion will result in a consensus to delete. --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 18:08, 3 November 2011 (UTC)
