I don't need to use AFD, I'm not deleting anything because this article has ZERO unique content! Why in the world does this need to duplicate the information already in the other one? Background section: All about the Jewel, not the waterfall. Design section: All about the Jewel, not the waterfall. Structure section: Already in the Jewel article because this is part of the Jewel! - Instead of constantly trying to bypass the consensus process, how about we try to improve the article? The Jewel entry should have a short summary of the Rain Vortex but not go into the details. There has been plenty of news media coverage that focuses on the Rain Vortex itself rather than the Jewel. SounderBruce 05:33, 29 October 2019 (UTC)
Reywas92, SounderBruce: I have moved the merge discussion to here, as it is typically done on the target page. robertsky (talk) 09:50, 29 October 2019 (UTC)
- I also see plenty of space in this Jewel article that is not prohibitive to an expansion of it instead. How about we improve this, then when it's at a place to justify a split we do that? The sources currently in the article as well as the ones in further research put the waterfall in the context of the building's architecture and without so much independent detail that it should be split from the main page. I just added another source and info about the design, but it fits just fine here, with no need for repetition. Reywas92Talk 18:42, 29 October 2019 (UTC)
- Key points are already in Jewel Changi Airport. Redirect. – robertsky (talk) 06:50, 26 June 2020 (UTC)

Jewel Changi Airport is a nature-themed entertainment and retail complex in Changi Airport, Singapore, linked to three of its passenger terminals. Its centrepiece is the world's tallest indoor waterfall, the Rain Vortex, which is surrounded by a terraced forest setting. It houses around 3,000 trees and 60,000 shrubs of 120 species from high-altitude, tropical forest habitats around the world. Photograph credit: Matteo Morando

Significant WP:NOTTRAVELGUIDE violations
[edit]As of now, the Attractions, Facilities, and Access sections are excessively detailed with trivia about the various installations at Jewel. Much of the specific stuff about the attractions e.g. pricing, lists of F&B outlets on each level, specifications of the slides, and list of bus services can and should be removed as non-encyclopaedic. I've tagged the article accordingly and boldly reversed the Good Article nomination by JohnShakur as it would need lots of work to meet GA criteria 1b and 3. ~ KN2731 {talk · contribs} 04:56, 8 June 2021 (UTC)
