[edit]When deleting article about Ježica, please provide notes what should be changed! Better than deleting it, correct it! Your opinion is not everyone opinion! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Grabyton (talk • contribs) 17:59, 29 January 2016 (UTC)
- Please read the edit summary. Additions are welcome, but much of the material was unintelligible, none were sourced, some had little or no connection to the topic, and some had a promotional tone. The changes also removed some well-sourced material. Doremo (talk) 18:37, 29 January 2016 (UTC)
Recent edits
[edit]The recent edits to this article have included language that is often unintelligible (the language quality is, regrettably, some of the worst I have ever seen on Wikipedia). Many of the additions are sentence fragments, much of it is disjointed, and some of it is not even in English. The additions have also broken material away from the sources cited, thus degrading the reliability of the article. Constructive additions to articles are certainly welcome, and I do believe it was contributed in good faith, but it is difficult to view this as constructive—and certainly not as improving the quality of the article. [edit]I will try to correct my English. I will write things under one title with time interval of one day, so you will have time to check and correct it. But before I do, I want to know that you won`t erase everything I write. CAN YOU CONFIRM THAT? Things I wrote are interesting from local perspective. If you are not interested in those things, that doesn`t mean it`s all gibberish. All material I collected can`t be gibberish, otherwise all material about Ježica which is there is gibberish. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Grabyton (talk • contribs) 11:29, 3 February 2016 (UTC)
- Making small additions to an article is generally good practice because it gives other editors an opportunity to make edits and other improvements. No matter how good any information originally is, when the spelling, grammar, and translation are poor enough, it can become gibberish, unfortunately. When making changes, please take care not to remove sources from material (as your previous edits did). You may wish to look at the recommendations at WP:BETTER, and in particular the helpful suggestions at WP:SPELL, WP:TOPIC, WP:UNDUE, and related topics. Doremo (talk) 12:19, 3 February 2016 (UTC)
This is unbelievable! Your acting is unreasonable! Ruski car is known as attraction on Ježica, even though it stood in Mala vas in the past. You self wrote that Ježica annexed the former village of Mala Vas na Posavju, so Ruski car is part of Ježica now. It should be mentioned on Ježica page and Mala vas page like Šiška Cultural Quarter is mentioned on Ljubljana page even though it is part of Šiška. Deleting bridge of Sava river branch is even more unreasonable, cause this bridge is big attraction to locals and shows totaly different flow of Sava river in the past. It has to be mentioned here! If you do not know anything about Ježica and if you have no idea about this things, you can`t erase everything. You are acting like you own wikipedia. This is not your page, it is internet site for all people. Stop erasing everything that people write, they can`t be all incapable of writing things. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Grabyton (talk • contribs) 19:36, 22 February 2016 (UTC)
- Please look at the edit summaries. Repeating identical information in multiple places does not make it more real or useful. You may also wish to review the advice at WP:PA. I've moved the information about the obsolete bridge to the "Other cultural heritage" section and rewritten it. Doremo (talk) 04:32, 23 February 2016 (UTC)
Who the hell is so passionate about describing Ježica?! I mean, it's sort of funny, but also great! :) SplosnoZnanje (talk) 21:23, 3 May 2019 (UTC)
- The bulk of the additions were made by a now-blocked user, probably a local. Doremo (talk) 05:41, 4 May 2019 (UTC)
Also, the church is dedicated to Cantius, Cantianus, Cantianilla and Protus. Should I change that? I'm asking because I don't want anyone to get angry at me. SplosnoZnanje (talk) 21:56, 3 May 2019 (UTC)
Please confirm, if you want me to change it. P.S. Should we talk in Slovene (I mean, we are probably all slovenians, so why to complicate with English, which I personnaly don't speak - or write - well). Just a suggestion SplosnoZnanje (talk) 21:59, 3 May 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you for pointing this out; I've made the update and added a source. Doremo (talk) 03:02, 4 May 2019 (UTC)
Does anyone know exact location of bunkers no.1 and no.3 (I'd really like to see them)? By the way, should we maybe write that in 1821 when Holy alliance gathered in Ljubljana the Russian Tsar stayed in Inn which is now named after him - I know Russian Tsar Inn was metioned in the text, but maybe some readers would like to know why is it named like that? SplosnoZnanje (talk) 21:52, 7 May 2019 (UTC)
- Go to http://giskd6s.situla.org/giskd/ and zoom in to the Ježica area. The bunkers are the three blue dots by the railroad bridge (two at left, one at right). Click the "i" icon and then the blue dots for a drop-down info box for each. Doremo (talk) 02:48, 8 May 2019 (UTC)
- I've added a link to the page where the inn is described. Doremo (talk) 02:56, 8 May 2019 (UTC)
