Buddhist site?

[edit]

There should be a mention in the article that some archaeologists and historians claim that there is evidence that the Jagannath Temple in Puri is built on the site of an earlier Buddhist stupa which contained a tooth relic of the Buddha, and some even claim this tooth relic is now the Brahmadhatu contained within the main idol.

ASI indicates Tribal origin of cult and original Buddhist temple of the site, which shoiuld be mentioned. s MHBACOB (talk) 11:54, 15 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. —KuyaBriBriTalk 13:48, 15 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@MHBACOB: Please provide a reliable source for your claim. The sources you copy-pasted from the article Jagannath are about the origins of the deity called Jagannath, not this temple. utcursch | talk 00:01, 29 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
