GA review – see WP:WIAGA for criteria
This article is in decent shape, but it needs more work before it becomes a Good Article.
- Is it well written?
- A. The prose is clear and concise, and the spelling and grammar are correct:
- In the Format section, it might be a good idea to fully say Dana's name, I mean I know who it is, but your reader needs to know. In the Donal Skehan section, I was confused by this sentence ---> "Mason had previously wrote a song for Monrose for the German national final in 2007", up until I clicked on the "Monrose" link. Maybe adding "pop band" before "Monrose". In the At Eurovision section, "Since Ireland came last in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 Dustin was obliged to perform his song in one of the two semi-finals of the 2008 contest", add a comma after "Eurovision".

- B. It complies with the manual of style guidelines for lead sections, layout, words to watch, fiction, and list incorporation:
- Dates need to be unlinked, per here. Also, I noticed that dates in the references are linked and it would be best if they were unlinked. In the Format section, italicize "X Factor" since its a television program, and per here. Same section, it would be best if "Eurovision Song Contest 2007" is linked once, per here. In the At Eurovision section, remove the quotation marks in "This Morning" and italicize it, since its a television program.
