web hosting company
[edit]Throughout the article 1&1 is described as pure web hosting company. However at least in Germany it also sells DSL contracts. (And it is one of the biggest in that field) Scindix (talk) 21:44, 4 July 2016 (UTC)
- With renaming of 1&1 Internet to 1&1 IONOS in October, the new brand is only used for selling hosting and cloud products. The brand 1&1 (without addition) is only used to market DSL and mobile telephony in Germany. Additionally, United Internet - 1&1 IONOS' mother company - also has the brands / companies 1&1 Drillisch (dicoount mobile telephony), 1&1 Versatel (fiber brodband connections for businesses) - both operating in Germany only, and 1&1 Mail & Media Applications, operations brands such as GMX, WEB.DE, and mail.com
- It would be great if an admin could move / rename this page to "1&1 IONOS" for the sake of clarity, I don't have the respective rights.

- Hi @Amaurer ui: Anyone can move pages, no need to have admin credentials. Just look for the move link in the page menu. — kashmīrī TALK 17:25, 18 January 2019 (UTC)
- But also please note that the company still operates as 1&1 Internet, for example in the UK[1]. — kashmīrī TALK 20:40, 18 January 2019 (UTC)

couple of issues
[edit]this page seems like its promoting 1&1 rather then describing it
also maybe get the 1&1 logo on and claim fair use? 86.30.183.33 (talk) 11:35, 16 April 2011 (UTC)

5 years as written like an advert. Reduce?
[edit]This page appears to have been flagged as written like an advert for the last five years. Many of the citations for its claims are from the company itself. Would it, therefore, be unreasonable to simply reduce the content down to that which can be fairly cited? --Lord Matt (talk) 12:37, 16 March 2019 (UTC)
