This appears to be an article about a minor and young academic who has yet to do anything genuinely noteworthy. This should fall in the class with a biography for a random person on the street.

He's chaired the department of philosophy at Birkbeck at the University of London and is a tenured full professor at Stanford. The Philosophical Gourmet calls him a 'leading philosopher'.

This article must adhere to the biographies of living persons (BLP) policy, even if it is not a biography, because it contains material about living persons. Contentious material about living persons that is unsourced or poorly sourced must be removed immediately from the article and its talk page, especially if potentially libellous.
