Comments on the Meteorological history
[edit]I've done a full copyedit of the areas where I thought needed work. Overall, the article should now be up to normal standards for a good article. However, since WPTC seems to have higher standards than the rest, I wont hold what follows against the article's GA status. All of these should be very easy to resolve as they can be found in the Preliminary Report as well as in discussions on the storm.
- Why did the storm move the way it did?
- What factors pushed it in a sort-of "stair-stepped" track?
- Why did it turn back towards the east near the end of its track?
- When did the eye develop?
- When convection become organized
- Did convective banding ever form? (it did, but should be stated in the article)
- How long did the remnants last after Octave was declassified a tropical cyclone?
Hope this helps, Cyclonebiskit (talk) 14:04, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
