I'll take a look later. Nova Crystallis (Talk) 04:07, 10 May 2018 (UTC)
- "The depression became the seventh tropical storm of the annual hurricane season and was named Gert just hours later," Hours after it strengthened to a tropical storm?
- Fixed. ~ KN2731 {t ⋅ c} 04:01, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
- "Once Gert was able to overcome that on August 14, however, strengthening resumed as Gert moved northwards, paralleling the United States coastline." Fragment at the beginning is missing something. So what did Gert do after it overcame?
- Reworded, and split the previous sentence too. ~ KN2731 {t ⋅ c} 04:01, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
- "One fatality occurred in Nantucket, Massachusetts, and another in Ocracoke, North Carolina; in both instances, a swimmer drowned amid heavy surf." Change that to "Two fatalities occurred when two swimmers *The remnants being absorbed by another cyclone should be mentioned in the first paragraph of the lead.
- Fixed both issues, I think. ~ KN2731 {t ⋅ c} 04:01, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
- Remove all mentions of what NHC did operationally.
- Okay, done. ~ KN2731 {t ⋅ c} 04:09, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
- Link Northern Ireland in the impact section.
- Done ~ KN2731 {t ⋅ c} 04:09, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
That should be it. Nova Chrysalia (Talk) 12:15, 11 May 2018 (UTC)
- Should be done, thanks for the review. ~ KN2731 {t ⋅ c} 04:09, 13 May 2018 (UTC)

This storm did nothing notable. Yes, it’s sad 2 people died and yes, it did some damage, but like Tropical Storm Arthur (2020) it did nothing notable. I suggest this be merged with 2017 Atlantic Hurricane Season. 67.85.37.186 (talk) 21:02, 12 October 2020 (UTC)
- Speedy keep You said it yourself, 2 people died and it did some damage. And plus, this is a Category 2 hurricane and a Good article. I don’t see why to merge or redirect this, it’s fine to melee this where it is. ~ Destroyeraa🌀 23:00, 12 October 2020 (UTC)
- @Destroyeraa: Vicky did damage, this did less. vicky claimed a life and it didn't get an aticle. You also merged Tropical Depression One of 2009, a GA. All of these have been done before, we can do it again. --67.85.37.186 (talk) 23:27, 12 October 2020 (UTC)
- This claimed two lives AS a hurricane. Vicky claimed two lives as a disturbance before it even became tropical. So who know whether or not the life was claimed by Vicky or just a plain old Tropical wave. ~ Destroyeraa🌀 00:31, 13 October 2020 (UTC)
- pinging KN2731 for input.~ Destroyeraa🌀 00:32, 13 October 2020 (UTC)
- This storm didn’t do like any notable damage. And who knows, where were the deaths? My theory is a boat sank and killed 2 people. You can look it up User: Destroyeraa. 67.85.37.186 (talk) 01:28, 13 October 2020 (UTC)

- Procedural close as textbook WP:POINT. Go consider each article on its own merits and stop bringing up other storms as "examples", every system and every season is different and the exact same line of reasoning isn't going to always apply. ~ KN2731 {talk · contribs} 07:07, 13 October 2020 (UTC)
- Really? SpeedSpeedSpeedy close as Keep. 🐔 Chicdat Bawk to me! 09:57, 13 October 2020 (UTC)
