Note
[edit]I checked Google, and I only get 4 hits, a lot of it junk. The first page of Spanish sources is about people named Bridigt, with the word Hurricane appearing somewhere else. Leave Message, Yellow Evan home
- Surely there must be more info out there. Just try a variety of sources, like newspapers or Spanish sources. ♬♩ Hurricanehink (talk) 04:05, 13 April 2010 (UTC)

- "worst hurricanes to strike Acapulco, Mexico."
- Added "Mexican". ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 13:49, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
- "what's a "tropical depression"? How is it different from a tropical storm?
- Explained. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 13:49, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
- link "archipelago".
- I switched it to "islands". ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 13:49, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
- "developed offshore of El Salvador"?
- That's actually redundant, since "offshore" already acts as a preposition. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 13:49, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
- what's the "Admiral of the Mexican Navy"?
- I added a link to "Admiral". ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 13:49, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
- "Debris-clogged drains" is debris needed?
- Well, I think it makes the situation clearer, as the drains could be clogged with any number of things not related to the storm. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 13:49, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
- "This made it the worst hurricane to hit the city in at least 25 years." what purpose does at least serve? Were the records obscured?
- That was the fact listed in the report on the hurricane. Often back in that time period, people gave vague estimates on a storm's severity, and it used to be much worse. Storms in the early 1900s in the U.S. were regularly called "the worst storm in memory". It wasn't until hurricane record-keeping got better later in the century that officials were able to quantify statistics such as "the worst hurricane since X year". Bridget was only known to be the worst hurricane in a long time. I hope that explains it. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 13:49, 28 July 2011 (UTC)

Hurricane Bridget (1971) → Hurricane Bridget – Only one Pacific hurricane named Bridget. 219.79.250.146 (talk) 01:17, 8 February 2017 (UTC) --Relisting. SkyWarrior 02:45, 15 February 2017 (UTC)
- Support as common sense. A hatnote on this page about other storms would suffice. Laurdecl talk 06:27, 15 February 2017 (UTC)

Hurricane Bridget (1971) → Hurricane Bridget – Only hurricane to be ever named Bridget, seriously not a block evader on above. SMB99thx XD (contribs) 12:38, 27 May 2017 (UTC)
- Support on substance grounds. I hadn't realize this was the only "Hurricane Bridget"; otherwise, I would have gotten this moved years ago. YE Pacific Hurricane 21:10, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
