Two Wikipedia articles conflict
[edit]In this article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koumbi_Saleh, it states that Koumbi Saleh's wealth came from controlling trans-Saharan trade from gold that originated in goldfields to the south. Yet in this article (History of the Soninke people), it says that Koumbi Saleh's wealth came from its own gold mines. These appear incongruous. Cahokia1901 (talk) 07:27, 1 October 2023 (UTC)
