The North Holland archives have a bunch of 1916 drawings and photos of the situation prior to dismantling the 17th century room and redesigning the brewery as a cheese warehouse. Am I correct that these are not free-use photos and cannot become free-use unless permission is granted from the photgraphers/draughtsmen? They were all given to the New York museum, so in essence they were "published" in the US in 1923, though the Phile museum didn't buy it as an installation prior to 1928.
