[edit]Hello, my name is Simon Lawford, I'm a former organ scholar of Magdalen and did many of HCS's works while I was there under Bernard Rose.
Am currently putting together a website and would welcome any information, corrections, etc. Am particularly keen to contact 'Fh1' who clearly is knowledgeable on the subject.
My email address – slawford@gmail.com
Many thanks!

Haldane Stewart → Haldane Campbell Stewart – Stewart is generally referred to as either "H.C. Stewart", "Haldane Campbell Stewart", or sometimes H. Campbell Stewart. "Haldane Stewart" is less common. Per WP:INITS I had previously moved it from "Haldane Campbell Stewart" to Haldane Stewart" before I was familiar with WP:INITS Fh1 (talk) 04:29, 11 January 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. - Comment In cricketing terms he seems to have been known as Haldane Stewart, but as a composer Haldane Campbell Stewart. He seemed to have had a reasonable cricketing career, but not sure whether he was more notable as a composer/musician. Would like to see others views before committing to a vote. - Oppose. As Rugbyfan notes, there are plenty of instances of him being called Haldane Stewart, and given that our default naming convention for people is <First name> <last name> absent any other considerations, I don't see a high enough bar of evidence here to warrant inserting the extra middle name. — Amakuru (talk) 14:59, 5 February 2024 (UTC)
