I see no references that in the 60's Morton Hall was once a 'Borstal'. I know this because I was a boy there for 17 months. Dormitories were old RAF nissen huts. When it was a Borstal, it wasn't surrounded by a high fence as it is today, and I can't remember any of the boys absconding. On sunday mornings we marched for about 30 or 40 to a village church. The treatment was very strict and mirrored the army with all boys standing to attention on parade every morning for the head count and marching at all times. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.196.74.42 (talk • contribs) 19:09, 16 February 2018 (UTC)
