A fact from Giulia Dragoni appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 20 July 2023 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that in July 2023, Giulia Dragoni became the youngest person to represent any Italian senior national football team – including both men and women – in the 21st century?
The following is an archived discussion of the DYK nomination of the article below. Please do not modify this page. ALT1: ... that in November 2022, Giulia Dragoni became the youngest player to ever feature in a Serie A match since the league had turned fully professional? Source: Forbes
Comment: Just a few quick-fire hooks about one of most surprising faces we'll see at the upcoming World Cup in Australia and New Zealand; I'd like to thank everyone involved in the article's creation and expansion, as they deserve credit, too. I hope I'll be able to get my QPQ review over the line as soon as possible.
Post-nom note: Actually, ALT2 is slightly incorrect (thanks to Kingsif for pointing it out), so I just wanted to make a few changes to it:
ALT2a: ... that in July 2023, Giulia Dragoni became the youngest person to ever represent any Italian senior national football team –including both men and women– in the 21st century?
Prefer ALT3 or ALT2a given the link to the 2023 World Cup (which has broader appeal than just Serie A). (Maybe the article should also state "men or women" for emphasis though, in line with ALT2a.) QPQ is done. Article was submitted within 2 days of nomination, long enough, with inline citations, neutrally worded, well sourced. Good to go; AGF on Italian sources.
