Vandalism
[edit]I just reverted a change someone made concerning the dressing room photos. The magazine is "Easyfinder", not the very staid "South China Morning Post".
Trivia Information
[edit]As an FYI to anyone who reads or will be using this page especially the Trivia Information section.
Though some of the information being presented in the section may be true, most may at best only containt approximate and speculative trivial information. While I am not an dedicated expert of Gillian's, the number of edits some of the fields (such as weight, height, favourite animal, etc) have undergone within a certain time frame would suggest ambiguity, bias, and is of a true speculative nature only.
Thoughts on completely deleting this section? Luke 00:05, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
Gillian's Profile
[edit]Meant to put this on when I actually tagged that section, but the information contained in that section is unreferenced/unsourced? Does anyone know the source? B/C I haev tried looking and can't find it. Luke 01:23, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
- I have sourced the filmography and a lot of the professional details from imdb (link in article now) - only thing I cann't find a reference for is the **fav food: biscuits** type trivia (which I added a trivia section for) and to be honest this adds little to the article and I'd rather see it deleted than have a {(fact}} tag added... - Glen TC (Stollery) 00:31, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
Why was Charlene Choi's favourite singer Aaron Kwok??? Thats Gill's favourite singer you crazy people!! You should get your facts right before typing in any untrue facts. Oh well, this is not a big deal after I think about it.
- It doesn't matter now since that section has been removed. Luke 02:28, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
It seems to me that the profile picture of gillian chung is actually charlene choi and vice versa. Can somebody verify if this is true?, and if yes can you switch it.
- Looks to be Gillian to me. Can you prove otherwise? Luke 02:28, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
pin yin
[edit]whats the pin yin for her name?
- As the article states, her current name in pin yin is "Chung Yan-tung". However by birth name it is, Chung Ka-lai (鍾嘉勵). Luke 02:28, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
Photographic Incident
[edit]I added the 2nd paragraph there, kind of to finish that issue off. But im not too sure if the paragraph is fully suitable for someone's biography.
Also, i'll try to add more to this whole article from now on. As a fan of gillian for 4+ yrs, this article looks a bit too empty... anyone got ideas or topics that are suitable? Ahgillfan November 8, 2006
- how can one incident make up a major portion of the article about her? Either it should be toned down or more information about the subject career and others need to be added to the article inorder not to let that one incident usurped the entire article about the subject.Realdan 17:55, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
- Clearly this is a stub-class article as indicated through the WikiProject Hong Kong and WikiProject Biography ratings above. I agree that significant verifiable content needs to be added to the article to improve it; however, the language barrier may prove challenging. Any suggestions? Luke! 18:05, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
- I think as none of the members of the group twins has become bigger than the group, it would not be easy to find individual info, however movie career could have more articles about the individual act in the movie. So we move in that direction and sooner rather than later we will have a more informative article. what's your thought on that?Realdan 11:06, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
- Sounds like a good plan. I just can't believe there is a lack of biographical information out there. Do you think there is enough information out there to collectively improve the Twins article? That article is lacking content as well. Luke! 18:47, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
- look like we have to collect reliable info and then stitch them together to form a bio Realdan 09:02, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Gillian Twins.jpg
[edit]Image:Gillian Twins.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:39, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
Gillian's Picture
[edit]I have re-uploaded Gillian's picture after it was contributed by Kingjune86 and filled in all the copy right details. So basically we can use it now but some reason I don't think its really appropiate to use it as a front cover sort of thing since its her album cover. Perhaps I should upload another one? Birthname?
[edit]Alright can we decide on exactly what her birthname is? Currently there are two listed. Also, can we do away with all the romanisation for the birthname? Hong Qi Gong (Talk - Contribs) 17:05, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
- I think there was a name change. I added a sina source assuming it is correct. I have no preference for romanisations. Others might? Benjwong (talk) 21:33, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
- I think the name change thing is insignificant and I suggest to take the name change info down. The name change's source, FACE magazine, was previously known as EasyFinder. EasyFinder changed its name into Face and started out their business again. Should we include that info as well? I'd say we save all the trouble altogether.Ootorirei (talk) 06:04, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
Date format
[edit]Gillian is/was a Hong Kong celeb. As her main audience was Hong Kong, I believe the article should be in international date format, and not American. Ohconfucius (talk) 02:49, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
- Which bit? Dengero (talk) 10:37, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
I saw someone with a script converting us date format to international. Maybe there was a discussion about this somewhere? I am ok with either one. Benjwong (talk) 05:10, 14 September 2008 (UTC)

[edit]An edit was made back in 2005 that say she went to RMIT by IP user 202.147.108.137. But no reliable source is available anywhere that say she was a RMIT student. Please help with the source. Benjwong (talk) 04:45, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
