Curse you Dunkey
Dunkey doesn't understand what he started Dekai Averett (talk) 00:37, 31 December 2017 (UTC)
- From what we could tell, Dunkey only made a video where in one part he vandalizes the Gameplay section, as can be seen by this edit from two days ago. He did not tell his viewers to make this same change, but it seems like because he has a huge following, it only sparked his followers to do the same. jd22292 (Jalen D. - There's no real need to discuss it further, with the protections in place. Just talking about it is essentially WP:NOTFORUM. -- ferret (talk) 01:10, 31 December 2017 (UTC)

Please, let me edit this page. WikiHackerCZ (talk) 16:35, 27 February 2018 (UTC)
- Not done: Edit requests aren't for requesting permission to edit, but to request specific edits. Make your request here in a clear "Change x to y" format. -- ferret (talk) 16:36, 27 February 2018 (UTC)

Linux release date
It is complicated.
On 11 August 2018, Foddy called for beta testers on Steam. The next day, Foddy writes: [I] put this on the main branch now
. This is probably why Mobygames lists 12 August 2018 as the release date and GamingOnLinux reports on 13 August: Originally, you needed to opt into a Beta to access it. Going by the posts in the announcement thread on Steam, it seems you might not need to opt into anything now.
However, the SteamOS icon was still missing from the Steam store page. Foddy explains why: I just haven't set it to advertise the Linux build until I'm happy that it doesn't have problems. Once you own it you'll be able to install the linux build.
The icon was added a few months later on 3 December 2018. This matches with the release date on GameFAQs.
PCGamingWiki lists a date in between: 18 August 2018.
I would say that having a public, working Linux build does not necessarily mean that the game is released for Linux. The icon on the Steam store is a good indicator for a release IMO.
Keep in mind that none of the above sources are reliable under Wikipedia's standards. —Dexxor (talk) 23:09, 18 December 2020 (UTC)
- Our infobox documentation requires an official release date, not alphas, betas, early releases, etc. So if it remains "unreleased" we should remove it. The beta/early access/whatever can be denoted in Prose though, if appropriate. -- ferret (talk) 23:24, 18 December 2020 (UTC)

Difficulty
"The game increases in difficulty as the player progress up the mountain" - says who? Most people I have talked to about this game agree that the overall difficult remains roughly constant from start to finish, and most of the major choke points (where players spend the most time) are near the beginning or middle of the game, not near the end. This statement about difficulty seems like an unfounded personal opinion which should not be in the article.

Done: I reworded the article to make it more accurate. Yoshiman6464 ♫🥚 14:55, 27 January 2021 (UTC)
