Scrutiny of moving Element article
[edit]In Special:Diff/968928523 you closed the move request. Despite being unanimous, you were involved in the decision making. Per WP:RMCI, an involved editor should not close the request but solicit a closure. I'm not sure if WP:RMT is the appropriate place for that, because of the move being uncontroversial. However, I'm also not going to request a WP:MR for this; please keep in mind for the future that you may not close move requests you were involved in, despite this WP:BOLD move. You're also encouraged to use {{subst:RMnac}}. 84.250.17.211 (talk) 20:40, 22 July 2020 (UTC)
A goat for you! I love cabrito !!
[edit]hi dexxor. I am new to wikipedia. I recently tried to add content to the Wizard (card game) page, tournament section. Since 2011, US Games, the distributor of Wizard Cards, has provided 2 free trips to Europe to compete in the World Championships. This year, the championship was cancelled because of covid19. Next year, the two US representatives will be selected via a tournament on www.wizardcards.com it is free to register, and free to play on www.wizardcards.com I wanted to add to the tournament section the information that the 2 USA Representatives to the 2021 World Wizard Championship will be selected via the winner of www.wizardcards.com How would it be best to include that information? thank you !! Marina

- @Marina Sandy Kobe: Leave out “web-based, free to register, free to play, nothing to download”. This is purely promotional. Keep in mind that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. Write prose for better readability. Use inline citations so that we can verify your statements. But if only 38 players participated, the tournament is not note-worthy. A general rule for notability is that the event got coverage in reliable sources. —Dexxor (talk) 15:33, 29 August 2020 (UTC)
Reverted Night in the Woods edit
[edit]in the Night in the Woods article, the external www.nightinthewoods.com website isn't working for me. When I click on the link it shows a DreamHost site not found page. Can you double check if it's working? If it's indeed working, then it's an issue with my internet, sorry about the edit. Justiyaya (talk) 09:46, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Justiyaya: Maybe your browser automatically replaces http with https. The link in the article http://www.nightinthewoods.com/ works while https://www.nightinthewoods.com/ results in the error page you mentioned. —Dexxor (talk) 12:37, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
- Oh, HTTPS Everywhere screwed me over this time. Sorry Justiyaya (talk) 03:39, 2 May 2021 (UTC)
A kitten for you!
[edit]Thanks for being patient with my bad edits :)

Just to let you know, I added something on the Talk:Minetest page
[edit]Talk:Minetest#Minetest-Minecraft_situtation is where I added it. 98.10.48.24 (talk) 14:54, 24 June 2021 (UTC)
- @IAnthIsAwesome: No need to ping me twice. K4rolB explained it very well; there is nothing I could add. —Dexxor (talk) 13:21, 25 June 2021 (UTC)
Please Help
[edit]Hello,
On your instruction, I requested the person who took the photograph if he would release the rights to the picture. THey agreed and have consented to me via email. How should I proceed?
Thank you, --DavidOfThe (talk) 11:30, 7 July 2021 (UTC)
- @DavidOfThe: Follow the OTRS procedure. Feel free to ask me if you have more questions. —Dexxor (talk) 13:33, 7 July 2021 (UTC)

Dletarune Lore detail edit
[edit]I have lastly added some slight deltarune details about the lore, and they have been reverted. I don't mind it that much, (as I maybe added slightly too many words,) though I found they were relatively notable, mainly the "red-eye blinking" and "not against dark fountains" bits(, in addition to a few characters missing from where they suddenly came from)... but I am not going to stop you. :P (hope I formatted this correctly :) ) — Preceding unsigned comment added by EmeraldW4rld (talk • contribs) 15:28, 4 December 2021 (UTC)
- @EmeraldW4rld: Your additions were good if it wasn't for the fact that we really need to keep the plot section short. If Kris's red eye plays a bigger role in future chapters, we can add it then, but for now it is not necessary to understand the plot. There's so much that could be added but we try to keep it under 700 words. —Dexxor (talk) 16:35, 4 December 2021 (UTC)
- @Dexxor: Alright! Thank you for the clarification, I'll remember :) Also please ignore the Deltarune misspelling lol --EmeraldW4rld (talk) 16:41, 4 December 2021 (UTC)
Thanks for reverting this edit again, using my typo of "date" and all. Ever since I put WP:ANI on my watchlist smaller edits have been slipping through my cracks. Panini!🥪 13:08, 6 December 2021 (UTC)
Your note / compliment Kurzgesagt
[edit]Thank you. I presume I caught your attention on the translation for the website title. I find that cite provides for support on two levels, it organizes and presents information that a dumb link does not provide for and for Google and other entities it provides metadata for their engines to consume and process context as they examine the html entities invisible to the casual human (eyeballs) reader. Besides I like that date and publisher/website can be made available to pre-determine whether it is worth clicking on said external link. WurmWoodeT 07:40, 7 April 2022 (UTC)
- @WurmWoode: That seems reasonable. Breaking the WP:ELCITE guideline is probably fine, as long as you are aware you are breaking it. In this specific case for Kurzgesagt, using the publication date from the page's metadata is not useful because the page seems to be continuously updated. Dexxor (talk) 08:13, 7 April 2022 (UTC)
Hi there
[edit]Why did you revert? Hornbeel3 (talk) 14:21, 18 June 2022 (UTC)
- @Hornbeel3: There are three reasons why I reverted your edits:
- You accidentally removed the short description.
- You removed the non-free image Lichess Logo 2019.png from the article but non-free images must be used on at least one article per WP:NFCC#7.
- You added Lichess Logo (1).jpg to the article but that image has been deleted from Commons because the Lichess logo is copyrighted. Dexxor (talk) 16:52, 18 June 2022 (UTC)
- What can be a solution for this? Hornbeel3 (talk) 04:21, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
The double-underscore notation __text__
can underline text, but just on Discord. Other implementations of Markdown do use this notation to make text bold instead of underlined. --Keyacom (💬 | 🖊) 14:50, 31 July 2022 (UTC)
- True. Do you want to put the underline notation back into the article? Dexxor (talk) 06:07, 1 August 2022 (UTC)
- Yes. --Keyacom (💬 | 🖊) 16:52, 1 August 2022 (UTC)
- @Keyacom: Then feel free to do so, but make sure the reader doesn't get the impression that __text__ notation for underlining is part of "standard" Markdown. Most Markdown implementations don't have special syntax for underlining because underlining is regarded as a typewriter relict and frowned upon in typography for everything except hyperlinks.
