This line on the article "Notwithstanding this, it should be noted, however, that multiple persons did claim to have witnessed Galgani's alleged stigmata" is not accurate to the sourcing as it leaves out important information about who these witnesses were. The source says this on page 68 "Father Germano continued his defense with a reminder to readers of his biography about all the other witnesses who could testify to the veracity of Gemma's stigmata: from among the Giannini clan there were Cavalier Matteo and his wife Giustina, their eldest son Giuseppe, and most centrally Matteo's sister, Cecilia, not to mention, of course, Father Germano himself."
Father Germano and Cecilia Giannini and her family [1], [2] were Gemma Galgani's close friends. Outside of Father Germano's biography there is no documentation supporting neutral witnesses seeing Galgani's stigmata. Indeed there is no evidence that any independent observer witnessed Galgani's stigmata. The biography by Father Germano is a highly biased source and these are not reliable witnesses, they were Galgani's close friends. If this content is to remain it needs to be made clear who these people were. The statement that "multiple persons did claim to have witnessed Galgani's alleged stigmata" is not giving accurate detail and is in violation of NPOV.
