Paul Luty Obis, Jr., Founder and Publisher of Vegetarian Times
[edit]Might you be interested in developing a biography of Paul Luty Obis, Jr.[1], Founder and Publisher of Vegetarian Times? MaynardClark (talk) 02:38, 7 November 2024 (UTC)
- I do believe it is worth doing, he definitely would qualify for an article on Wikipedia as there are obituaries and mainstream news coverage. Psychologist Guy (talk) 02:45, 7 November 2024 (UTC)

Seeking feedback on a draft article about PuppySpot
[edit]Hi @Psychologist Guy, I see that you write a good bit about animal issues given your primary interest in vegetarianism and I want to ask if you would be willing to take a look at a draft article I've written and provide some feedback.
To be up front, I am a paid contributor with a declared COI. My initial draft was rejected but the reviewing editor hasn't provided any specific feedback and I wanted another opinion before I begin reworking the article. My primary question would be if you think the subject is notable and the issue is tone? Or if you think the subject has notability issues. You can find the draft here:

Apologies if you don't have time for something like this, but any feedback would be helpful. Thank you! SBCornelius (talk) 21:17, 22 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hi SBCornelius, no problem. As you could probably guess from my editing history I am usually only interested in documenting historical content related to animal welfare, animal rights and vegetarianism. The period I specialize in is around 1880 to 1950. I don't edit many modern charities or organizations.
- I had looked at the PuppySpot draft, it contains reliable sources so I think it will qualify for an article at some point. It be worth going to Google News and seeing if there are any other sources to expand it. The reason the draft was declined was probably because the scientific board members were added at the bottom with their qualifications and other details which looks overly promotional. I would recommend removing those names and just mentioning they have a scientific board or if you are going to mention them find some other sources and just list their names, not their qualifications or other details.
