I have made some changes - wondered if the page title should be titled Anagotus fairburni rather than current flax weevil? I'm not sure how to do this if required. Markanderson72 (talk) 10:46, 28 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I'd say we should be using the name most prevalent in common use, which is definitely flax weevil. Other insects aren't so fortunate as to have a single common name, so we use the Latin name. But if there were actually several flax-feeding weevils in NZ and the common name here were likely to cause confusion between then, we should move the article to the scientific name. —Giantflightlessbirds (talk) 20:32, 28 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
