This professional wrestling article is a frequent target for editors to add a week-by-week synopsis of storyline events, unconfirmed information, rumors, and other content inappropriate to an encyclopedic article. World Wrestling Entertainment (2004–present)
[edit]Under this title it mentions him wrestling in scotland before his return. Before his return to the ring in 2005, Finlay also appeared in and fought in a Smackdown! tour in the odyssey area, belfast. At this time JBL was the current reigning champion and remarked that no Irish man alive could defeat him until finlay appeared and did just that.
Princess Paula (FAO User:NiciVampireHeart)
[edit]Hello.
I have unreversed your reverts to my additions and added some sources in order to prove to you that Princess Paula Valdez, the noisy head-dress wearing ex-wife and ex-manager of Dave Finlay did (and presumably still does) indeed exist. Although to be honest this is something of which most people in the UK aged over 30 are perfectly well aware!
And if Youtube clips were acceptable Wiki sources, I would have added these: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mHf7EalBmJ4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-iUGvFItmvU

- I appreciate you providing citations, thank you for doing so. I've removed some of the info - the sources don't verify how long they were married or when they got married, etc. It might be common knowledge among the over-30s in the UK, but wikipedia is for people of all ages from all around the world, so I assume you appreciate the need for information to be verifiable. Thanks once again for providing the sources. ♥Nici♥Vampire♥Heart♥ 18:02, 14 February 2010 (UTC)
Photo anyone?
[edit]Anyone got a suitable free-to-use pic of Finlay and Paula from circa the 1980s? It would be a good addition to this section. There are plenty on Google but they are not free images.Romomusicfan (talk) 15:20, 29 August 2023 (UTC)
Move article name to Fit Finlay
[edit]Finlay, throughout his career, is more commonly known as Fit Finlay rather than Dave Finlay. Please consider. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 120.28.242.190 (talk) 11:39, 29 December 2019 (UTC)
Personal Life.
[edit]Finlay was managed throughout the 80s by his still wife Paula Valdez. They could be seen often as a partnership on ITV WoS wrestling. They did not divorce in 1979, they divorced in the early 90s as documented here
