The following paragraph in the "Impact on Civilians" section should be removed for violating WP:NPOV:

After the Taliban victory, these fears never materialized. Zarifa Ghafari, a former governor under the defeated previous government, even returned to Afghanistan safely on tourism.[84] The Taliban countered accusations of discrimination against women as mere propaganda.[85]

Partly done: I have removed the first part of the paragraph, it was poorly written, claims dubious, and its source paywalled. I am leaving the Taliban government response up however. Glass Snow (talk) 21:58, 28 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
