can I add the other songs onto here

[edit]

I think that the other songs should be put on here Sarah afton (talk) 14:30, 6 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sarah afton (talk) 14:35, 6 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Sarah afton: No, they can't be. You are not allowed to decorate an article with audios. This article has two audios, which is the maximum limit. Please stop adding more to the soundtrack/film articles. A film article is not supposed to have song samples, by the way. It is copyrighted media that should be used promptly and as minimally as possible. Read Wikipedia's guidelines on using music samples. Ronherry (talk) 17:44, 6 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Waiting on a Miracle

[edit]

Can someone please create a separate article for the song “Waiting on a Miracle”? The reason I’m asking is because I learned that actress Stephanie Beatriz was in labor when she recorded that song. I want that song to have its own article because I just find that fact so interesting. I also love Disney movies and songs. 2600:1702:4AE8:8680:F07C:D6E2:15CA:15D (talk) 18:58, 17 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@2600:1702:4AE8:8680:F07C:D6E2:15CA:15D I think it's a great idea but I think there's a reason there isn't one Sarah afton (talk) 09:12, 26 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
There is not a separate article for "Waiting on a Miracle" for the same reason there aren't separate articles for many of the characters: they are not notable enough to be included on Wikipedia. If you or anyone else wants to write articles on these songs or characters, you must simply find reliable sources (discussing the topic specifically, not the movie as a whole) and use those sources to write an article. Different Versions?

[edit]

I'm curious if anyone has done any research on the Different Versions of this? There is a different version that is 32 tracks and also one that is only 9 tracks. I bought this from Amazon and the version I received was 32 tracks. In fact, I can't find the 44 Track version anywhere.

If you have a source for the track listings for those, you are welcome to add it to the article. InfiniteNexus (talk) 17:01, 13 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I think @Al Gordon has a very good point. Someone could add the 32-track standard CD release, but the article states "The soundtrack consists of 44 tracks" as a matter of fact. Fact is that while there were indeed 44 tracks in the digital download, the CD release contained only 32 tracks. I think that distinction should be more clearly made. I suggest editing the article in such a way that it is clear which tracks were only in the digital download (the same practice that is applied when some tracks are only available in a deluxe version). Thanx< I'm pretty dizzy from researching this. I really enjoy the music so I was all over it for a while... but getting Information that can be considered "Reliable" at Wiki has been hard. There is a Discogs Posting, but I don't think that's allowed here(?)... But it seems there is a hard-copy CD w/ 44 Tracks.

  • The last sentence for "Development" has been done, but I found two more references clearing up the fact that there are 8 original songs and there is an English version of "Dos Oruguitas" → [1][2]. But I will say that the "Track listing" section explains the last two sentences, clearing up the instrumentals and the 27 score compositions, but it's honestly up to Ronherry to add a citation for the liner notes maybe? — VAUGHAN J. (t · c) 10:55, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
     Done. Added a citation for liner notes. ℛonherry 09:37, 16 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Drive-by comment

[edit]
  • Development – You should retitle to "Development and release" and merge with the below section per the short size.

It's a very well written article, without any problems, and meets the criteria for Good Article. I will pass this one. Congratulations! BigLordFlashtalk 12:55, 16 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
