Emona is mentioned in Koskova's "The Historian." Does this city still exist? What is it named today.
I came for the same reason. If I find out, I'll come post it.

It's Ljubljana. But there is no mentioning of the city in the article about the book, you can fix that. --Tone 00:16, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Erm, not aquainted with the book, but the Elizabeth Kostova article says she has a crush on Bulgaria, The Historian goes only as far as the 1930s in history, and there is a Bulgarian village named Emona as well. Since the Emona of this article was last called Emona in the wee centuries AD, I'd suspect the Emona in The Historian is in fact the Bulgarian village.
