@The C of E and SL93: should EliteXC: Heat be in italics in the hook? I see that other similar articles seem to have italicised text but non-italic titles, but I can't work out the reason for this (if it's technical reasons then I can help with that). I've looked around @Bilorv: and it seems weird. In other MMA even articles, the article title is normal but when it's referenced in the text its in italics. I have no idea why that is but I have added italics to this just to match what appears to be common use (even though I'm not sure there's any rule perscribing it). The C of E God Save the Queen! [...] but the fight was overshadowed by accusations that Petruzelli had been offered a payment by EliteXC's promoters to not fight Slice on the ground. Is "fighting on the ground" common lingo for MMA? I understand that it's supposed to mean fighting not while standing, but is there a formal, official phrase for this? However Slice refused the change to Frank Shamrock, and the latter claimed he had been drinking heavily the night before. Already edited. Maybe add in that he mentioned he was drinking so that he would go easy on Slice? —Tenryuu 🐲 ( 💬 • 📝 ) 00:39, 15 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  - I think it depends on whether drinking was significant enough to affect Shaw's decision. From what I read from the source, the drinking seems to be a tangent to throwing the match in Slice's favour, but ultimately it was that the corporate side [thought] that [Frank fighting] was just too weird.^[1] It seems like it'd make more sense to mention that instead of drinking. —Tenryuu 🐲 ( 💬 • 📝 ) 18:27, 15 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

      - @The C of E: Because drinking wasn't the main point.
