While I understand this went through peer review at AfC, I still doubt the notability, hence the tag. References must meet WP:ORGCRIT which I am having a hard time seeing. --CNMall41 (talk) 23:13, 31 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@CNMall41: I've removed the tag because it's simply not actionable. Take this to AfD or leave it be. As for whether it's notable, I believe it so per the following comment I left on the draft and also on the creator's talk page:
Some sources do not contain substantial coverage of Dress2kill (e.g. the Fashion Practice study) and some are not reliable (e.g. Yell). However, there is non-trivial secondary coverage in Drapers, MoneyWeek, The Times, Financial Times and Campaign. I have suspicions that a couple of the articles may have been paid for by the company, but Hibbert and the deal with Virgin Atlantic have received secondary coverage. I believe this article still has a 50% chance of surviving a deletion discussion, which is our threshhold for accepting a draft.
I'll add to this that the You Can Do It Too book mentioned in the article is significant secondary coverage, and perhaps the other books too (I can't access them). This book looks helpful in expanding the article, though the author doesn't seem independent of the subject. I suspect there's also more coverage of the Virgin Atlantic deal somewhere.
Feel free to create an AfD discussion if you like (after checking WP:BEFORE). If you give your rationale for deletion and I comment "keep" with some of the above reasoning, then hopefully we can get some more opinions. Though it may not be so in practice, the nominal threshold for accepting an AfC draft is "more likely than not to survive AfD", and it's the one I try to stick to. — Bilorv (talk) 17:33, 1 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Bilorv, I am very familiar with the threshold at AfC and not questioning your approval so please do not take it personal. I am questioning the notability and will go ahead and create the AfD later (I have already done WP:BEFORE). Was hoping to have more of a discussion here so as not to waste anyone's time at AfD but that is likely the best option based on your comments. My main concern as noted above is WP:ORGCRIT. Mentions in a book are definitely secondary coverage but the ones you mentioned don't meet WP:ORGCRIT in my opinion (again, just my opinion). --CNMall41 (talk) 18:08, 1 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
