I'm confused on how this is an upcoming film seeing how it is marked as 1978.

This is NOT an upcoming film. There is a new animated film with the same title (and about the same Marvel comics character) which was released in 2007. This is an article about the 1978 live action film. Rosencomet (talk) 16:28, 21 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Here's a good article that might have info to add - [1] - Favre1fan93 (talk) 06:06, 7 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I've made a start, and done a fair bit to improve the plot and added more reviews to reception (geez people hate this). I'm not entirely sure from either that article or other sources I've found how accurate the plot is. Is the Nameless One in the cast list actually called that anywhere in the film or on the DVD box or credits in the film? If Lermind or whatever was originally meant to be Merlin (as indicated in the article above) was this cut from the final shooting script (it does explain the presence of Morgan le Fay, but I'd like to know for sure it's not in the show before saying anything in Production.) – Of course, "Dr." and "Doctor" are pronounced the same and have the same meaning. Unlike Doctor Who, Strange is referred to both ways. I don't think most readers are going to think, "Oh yes, the TV film from the 70s was 'Dr.' and the recent Marvel Studios movie spelled it out!'" Given the time between the films, having the date in the titles will be much more useful to disambiguate. --BDD (talk) 14:43, 5 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
