Six / Seven - How Many Constructicons Make Up ROTF Devastator?

[edit]

I changed 7 to 6 in the number of constructicons in the ROTF section which was reverted. I do not understand - all the toys show only six constructicons - so why are seven mentioned? This should be made clear in the article (or corrected). --Robinson weijman (talk) 08:13, 24 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There are seven officially, but because Hasbro was cheap on that larger toy, they left one out. They forgot to put Overload in the set. Mathewignash (talk) 12:54, 24 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Officially where - in the film? I think this should be clear in the article - any objections? --Robinson weijman (talk) 18:22, 24 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The film has 7, the script has 7, the official artwork shows 7, the Legends class toy has 7, the article lists 7 Constructions by name. The only place where we see 6 is that one toy Hasbro made for the "Supreme" class toy, which lacks robot modes for all the toys, and they removed Overload from the bunch. The article clearly states in the toy section "Notably, this set does not come with the seventh Constructicon known as Overload." Mathewignash (talk) 23:36, 24 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Actually in the film Overload does not appear to form any part of devastator, it looks like there are at least two rampages (he is meant to form a leg but we see him scooped up to become Devastators left hand and there is possibly a third rampage forming a part of that leg) and two extra dumptrucks are present during the combination sequence both of which start to transform. I can't remember where one of them goes and it isn't seen where the other one goes. All of that is from the film itself (you just have to watch carefully) and is in more detail on the tfwiki.net page for devastator and some of it is on the talk page.Dalek9 (talk) 08:12, 14 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There's 9. (1) Scavenger (2) Mixmaster (3) Overload [he's shown driving up] (4) Scrapper (5) Hightower (6) Long Haul (7) Rampage (8) The smaller bulldozer that fuses with Hightower to make the full left arm (9) A yellow dump druck that helps fuse with Rampage to make the leg. They're all there. All are shown to be combining. There's no disputing it's any less. 209.106.203.252 (talk) 05:15, 2 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The whole the damn film was full of errors sadly. The official number was 7 from the makers of the film and toy. YOu might want to start a section describing this information. Mathewignash (talk) 05:26, 2 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Movie Plot?

[edit]

Which ambitious bright-eyed youngster wrote this section? ;)

Should it be included? The film screenshot is a worthy addition, IMO, but a summary of the scene in which Devastator appears is not necessary.

Rather than put down a section of an article, I suggest you make improvement to it, or keep your snide comments to yourself. Mathewignash (talk) 20:15, 5 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I took it out because it was superfluous and poorly written. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.204.20.178 (talk) 19:12, 22 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
