Season 6
" and Katherine (Dana Delany) struggles over the thought of losing Mike.[42]" is that for real? Is it an official source? If so, I think they are really stupid for giving away the biggest spoiler ever! The season 5 finale cliffhanger is then nule. If it's not Katherine, then it's Susan. Why would ABC ruin their own show? I think that info is fake and should be removed.--93.122.204.250 (talk) 21:13, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
- I agree, plus is that her best storyline in Season 6? Surely her complete storyline isn't going to be "struggling over the thought of losing Mike". I think it should be removed.--°wɧoɳɪvɛʀsɜ 10:38, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
- It doesn't give away anything. In an "Ask Desperate Housewives" video at the official webpage, Marc Cherry states that Mike will begin pulling away from Katherine in season six. Which means Mike and Katherine might be the married couple, but Mike will still have feelings for Susan, and Katherine will pick up on this and "struggle over the thought of losing Mike". Get it? They could still be married, it doesn't give away anything, and it was made exactly to lead you to believe Mike and Susan got married, only to later show you it was actually Mike and Susan. Think harder, people. I mean, it could be Mike and Susan, but you gotta look at both sides of the road before crossing it. -- Renaboss (talk) 12:34, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
- in retrospect, that actually was correct
- oh well --79.233.105.102 (talk) 00:24, 20 December 2009 (UTC)

Second spinoff?
This is being reported as somewhat of a DH spin-off. Should it be added/mentioned in the article? There are planned small crossovers between DH and this series of commercials. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Akcvtt (talk • contribs) 05:41, 11 September 2009 (UTC)
- How is Sprint a SECOND spin off? What was the first spin off? (Obviously it is now mentioned in the article). Btw, anyone know if there are any plans to show it on UK TV?--TimothyJacobson (talk) 21:25, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
Starring
The starring section is meant to list ALL ACTORS THAT HAVE STARRED AT ANY POINT WHATSOEVER DURING THE SERIES. You're forcing me to use excessive caps here. Here's a quote from the Lost talk page, who had this discussion months ago: "the general convention, per the TV project guidelines, is that we list all roles that are deemed as main characters by the producers and network. That is to say, it is a function of their contract status, and not of our opinion as to who is important and who is not. As well, we don't differentiate based on seasons, former or current status, and so on. Again per the guidelines, if the infobox listing is considered to be too large, it can be replaced with a link to the "Characters" section." Thus all actors who have starred at any point during the series need to be added, and kept in the side infobox. IAmTheCoinMan (talk) 21:15, 26 September 2009 (UTC)
this article needs major revisions to remove inappropriate content —Preceding unsigned comment added by 38.98.88.24 (talk) 03:21, 12 November 2009 (UTC)
- Guys, stop reverting each other and decide what to do, on the basis of what is done for other series. By the way, I do not see what is meant by "the inappropriate content". DGG ( talk ) 16:06, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
Starring
Right, a more clear version here. The infobox has missing cast members but because of the large number of people who starred in the show, I suggest using Smallville's format: Smallville (TV series). Jayy008 (talk) 22:40, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
Citation needed??
First of all, sorry for my horrible english, I'm not a nativ speaker. But I wonder why every list now has this "This is a list with no clear inclusion or exclusion criteria" component. Everything that was wirtten their was part of several episodes and was clearly named in their. If you watch the episodes, you will know that everything that was written there is true. Why does it need citation? I don't get that.... For me, the claim about the citation is nonsens. You also don't have to prove everything if you write the summary of one episode because to prove that it is right, you only have to watch the corresponding episode. --Martina2504 (talk) 10:31, 12 December 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry I don't really know why, and I'm not a native American either. I'd say the stated inclusion criterion is clear, and obviously a recording verifies the facts of its own content (as do all sorts of self-publishing facts such as an enormous building)! Commonsense often prevails, in practice. However, maybe the Wikipedia:No original research policies prefer Verifiability from secondary published sources (such as some idiotic website)? "Disaster episodes" section
- This section feels like a violation of WP:UNDUE because although what happened in the episode may be tragic, I don't recall them explicitly being billed as disaster episodes. And the section is written badly enough, considering it looks like a collection of TV.com synopses, but exclamation points? Come on. Erpert (let's talk about it) 08:29, 28 November 2010 (UTC)
- Since a month has gone by with no one acknowledging this situation, I'm removing that section. Erpert (let's talk about it) 08:27, 26 December 2010 (UTC)
- I also deleted the mysteries section because the article was beginning to look too much like a fan site. Erpert Who is this guy? | Wanna talk about it? 18:45, 27 December 2010 (UTC)

Ratings
Sceal101 (talk) 15:18, 17 March 2011 (UTC)We have to come to an agreement about the ratings. The ratings for season 6 are constantly being changed and #14 with 14.13 million viewers is correct. This table is for the ratings not for the average viewership. I think we should add in another column for season averages. This is just a thought.
- The source [1] you list for the #14 ranking lists the viewership at 12.823 million, not 14.13 million. BurienBomber (talk) 15:46, 17 March 2011 (UTC)

Shouldn't Karen be added to the list now, shes been in the show for the entire run, and was billed as a regular in season 7. She is a wife now and had a son, surely she should be on the list among everyone else, I mean shes been in the show longer than half the ones on there. Should be noted for article on Panavision quality for Desperative Housewives
The show indeed won some awards for its excellent cinematography, this was the use of expensive Panavision equipment which should be noted in the article of the high quality film to make the show for what it was. They spent a great deal of money to have the high quality cinematography using the the best lens, camera's and film to make the show full HD quality. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.82.68.111 (talk) 08:33, 23 May 2012 (UTC)
Vandilism
Someone has chnged the cast list on the right handside of the main page, along with the season nd episode count, and there are a few small changes that have been made. All the changes show incorrect information and I was unable to change it back as he/she edited twice and the revert edit reverts back to more vandilism. Could someone put the orrect cast list back and episode/season count??? I would but I dont know how to and I might make things worse if I tried Thanks. Liam74656 (talk) 17:59, 28 May 2012 (UTC)
Two Games?
In section 5.2 this article claims that "2006 saw the release of two video games" and goes on to describe only one. I can only find the one it describes on Amazon, but don't know if there is a second I'm not aware of. Can someone who knows more about this either add a sentence or two on the second game, or correct the article to read "2006 saw the release of a video game"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.31.163.29 (talk) 08:14, 19 July 2012 (UTC)

Orphaned references in Desperate Housewives
I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Desperate Housewives's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
Reference named "finaleratings":
- From The Office (U.S. TV series): Kondolojy, Amanda (May 17, 2013). "Thursday Final Ratings: 'Hannibal', 'The Big Bang Theory', 'The Vampire Diaries', 'Grey's Anatomy' & 'Office' Retrospective Adjusted Up". TV by the Numbers. Zap2it. Retrieved May 17, 2013.
- From Desperate Housewives (season 5): American Idol and season finales lead broadcast prime-time viewing. TV by the Numbers. May 19, 2009. Retrieved January 13, 2010.
I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 20:14, 1 May 2014 (UTC)
