Last Subs to Mount a Deck Gun
[edit]Minutes ago, I added that the last submarines to mount a deck gun were 2 of the 4 Abtao class submarines. However, I cannot name a reference for this. There is a book on submarines I have somewhere that states this but I do not currently have access to it. -Noha307 (talk) 03:54, 27 March 2012 (UTC)
- I was just able to determine the title of the book; it is The Illustrated Directory of Submarines of the World by David Miller - although I still don't know the page the information is on. -Noha307 (talk) 04:01, 27 March 2012 (UTC)
- I finally was able to add the citation information. --Noha307 (talk) 00:20, 1 April 2012 (UTC)

[edit]What stopped deck guns from rusting in the salt water, and thereby malfunctioning? 203.158.56.37 (talk) 07:59, 13 February 2021 (UTC)
Article needs additional subheading for maintenance
[edit]This article needs a subheading for the types of maintenance requirements necessary to keep the deck guns operable for being underwater. i.e. greasing, breach and muzzle caps, etc. GTO3DEUCES (talk) 20:28, 18 June 2023 (UTC)
