[edit]@Edwardx: what if "Oyedepo claimed that he was instructed..." is changed to "Oyedepo told his congregation that he was instructed by..."? HandsomeBoy (talk) 22:30, 8 September 2020 (UTC)
- @HandsomeBoy: That would be fine. Edwardx (talk) 11:09, 10 September 2020 (UTC)

[edit]The article includes none of the controversial claims by Oyedepo including:
- Claims of witchcraft https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-kent-29937091
- COVID-19 misinformation https://www.thecable.ng/how-nigerian-spiritual-leader-spread-covid-19-misinformation
- Support for homophobic 'conversion therapy' https://www.itv.com/news/2018-11-12/an-itv-news-undercover-investigation-exposes-the-uk-church-that-claims-you-dont-have-to-be-gay — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2604:3D08:777F:3200:3CC5:D9D5:2A14:AE41 (talk) 17:51, 27 October 2021 (UTC)
- Same reason all the supposedly good works, scholarships, donations and humanitarian involvement of Oyedepo is not included in the article. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a collection of controversial or patronizing statements. I would have agreed with you if his comments are persistent but they are really closer to being one-off. When was the last time he spoke about all these? Adding all those will be putting undue weight on those topics. These are not what he is really known for, even from a controversy POV. Controversially, he is more known (and covered in reliable sources) for his Biblical stance on tithing. I will be fine to include content in that area, but for now all three items you listed are not necessary in the article. HandsomeBoy (talk) 22:40, 28 September 2022 (UTC)
