4F timeline
[edit]Dont know why but 4F's track map is way shorter than 10 days. Hurricane Typhoon Cyclone 05:50, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
Hi its because TCWC Wellington doesn't give the location of the center of the low thus we will probbably have to wait for Padgett again. Jason Rees (talk) 06:20, 27 January 2009 (UTC)
TCWC Wellington
[edit]In case either Rattleman, myself, or Voffa have not archived the latest advisory from Wellington, we are getting the advisory from this Site allthough that said it seems that Wx Trop are archiving the advisories from wellington on their website. Jason Rees (talk) 00:40, 13 March 2009 (UTC)
source
[edit]where did [1] get its source? Hurricane Typhoon Cyclone 22:06, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
- NASA i think - but if you want to use that image you will have to get it off NASA themselves as weather underground is copyrighted Jason Rees (talk) 22:12, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
- A lot of people upload images from weather underground, but they dont say anything about weather underground's copyright. Hurricane Typhoon Cyclone 23:56, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
- Their logo is copyrighted, I think if you crop it out, its fine. Check with an experience user on the wikicommons site to make sure though. Cyclonebiskit 23:58, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
- It is because the image is courtesy of NASA, and none of the images I uploaded of Genevieve in the Epac were deleted. --Yue of the North 18:34, 18 March 2009 (UTC)

Jasper
[edit]Its back according to tonights Marine Bull as a Tropical Disturbance Jason Rees (talk) 20:47, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
- Any chance this is monitored by JTWC as 93P? - グリフオーザー (talk) 22:15, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
- 93P seems to be roughly in the same postion give or take a degreee so yeah it is 93P in my opinon Jason Rees (talk) 22:21, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
- Keep track of Jasper [2]. Hurricane Typhoon Cyclone 23:07, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
FICS March 09
[edit]This months Fiji Islands Climate Summuary issued today by Nadi says that lin had winds of 55kts Jason Rees (talk) 19:49, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
- so the estimated 60kts close to the center was just that an estimate? -- グリフオーザー (talk) 03:27, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
- Yep all windspeeds are estimates also they have gone and corrected the fics now Jason Rees (talk) 01:14, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
P or F
[edit]The articles give the desigantions as 00F, but [3] says otherwise. It designates as 00P. Which is correct? You may want to change it. It says 15P.INNIS, you say 15F.INNIS —Preceding unsigned comment added by Syntheticalconnections (talk • contribs) 23:50, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
- It wont need changing as we use the offical title which is F per RSMC Nadi and not P per the JTWC.Jason Rees (talk) 23:53, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
