- "Extreme rainfall totals as high as 1.25 m (50 in) caused massive river flooding in coastal waterways between Bowen and Mackay." - Should be 49 in as listed farther down in the article, no?
- Yeah, fixed. – Juliancolton | Talk 02:43, 4 May 2017 (UTC)
- "As a result of its small size, the storm's onslaught was much more sudden than normal, with little rain and steady barometric pressures in the hours before." - Where? Mackay?
- Everywhere I guess? I don't imagine the storm's structure changed much in the 10 hours or so from first impacting the islands to washing ashore. – Juliancolton | Talk 02:43, 4 May 2017 (UTC)
- "Some locations received up to 860 mm (34 in) of precipitation in just 24 hours." - I'd convert this to meters or convert the others to millimeters for consistency.
- Well my "rule" was written in meters for <1 meter, but I can change if necessary. – Juliancolton | Talk 02:43, 4 May 2017 (UTC)
- "A shopping centre in Mackay was invaded by floodwaters 1 meter deep." - Conversion pl0x.
- I converted the same value in the previous sentence just a few words before, so doing it again would be silly indeed. – Juliancolton | Talk 02:43, 4 May 2017 (UTC)
- "The nine-officer police force were unable to manage the outbreak of crime, and an anti-looting squad soon arrived in the town." - Should be a singular "was" because "police force" is a unit, no?
- Plural is more standard given the ENGVAR per MOS:PLURALS. – Juliancolton | Talk 02:43, 4 May 2017 (UTC)
- "Meanwhile, Navy boats retrieved injured individuals requiring edical treatment." - M-m-m-issing a letter
- Spooky disappearing letters. – Juliancolton | Talk 02:43, 4 May 2017 (UTC)
And that's all I got. Great writing as usual, forcing me to nitpick as usual. TropicalAnalystwx13 (talk · contributions) 01:06, 4 May 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks for the review!! I'll try to give you more to work with next time around. ;) – Juliancolton | Talk 02:43, 4 May 2017 (UTC)
