[edit]Hi, User:Ɱ and anyone else, I notice this new local historic register Columbus Register of Historic Properties because it appeared in my notices, maybe something linked to an article i created long ago. It looks good, looks like you are doing a good job. I see that you've edited article names to avoid linking to disambiguation pages, but you haven't added your articles to the corresponding disambiguation pages. Going back to an earlier version, [this version, there were i think 8 links to dab pages, including:
- First Congregational Church 444 E. Broad Street CR-4 846-82 May 10, 1982 No
- Central Presbyterian Church 132 S. Third Street CR-5 1005-82 June 7, 1982 No
- Trinity Episcopal Church 125 E. Broad Street CR-6 1081-82 June 14, 1982 Yes November 13, 1976
- St. Joseph Cathedral 212 E. Broad Street CR-7 1082-82 June 14, 1982 No
It is fine and good that you changed your outgoing link to First Congregational Church (Columbus, Ohio) (currently a redlink), eventually, but also you can/should go to First Congregational Church disambiguation page and add something like:
- First Congregational Church (Columbus, Ohio), listed on the Columbus Register of Historic Properties
Also, for near-matches of "Firstname Lastname House" and similar, like for Joseph Henderson House (currently a redlink), of 5055 Dierker Road, a corresponding item should be added to Henderson House disambiguation page. Because probably in real life it is sometimes called "Henderson House".
After the local articles are created, these will help readers get to the articles, and disambiguation page editors will update the entries. While their links are still redlinks, it still helps your local reader who might look for the local one see that there is currently no article, but one is called for, and they can get to your list-article.
I dunno if you might already know some/all of this and just have not gotten to it yet? Just trying to be helpful. Keep up your good work with this! In general local historic registers can/should be included into WikiProject Historic sites, too (meaning both the list-article and any new local articles which aren't already in narrower WikiProject NRHP). cheers, --Doncram (talk) 06:38, 8 May 2020 (UTC)
- Hi and thanks. I'll look into this disambig work soon; just in the middle of trying to add it to template:Designation for infobox use... ɱ (talk) 06:57, 8 May 2020 (UTC)
