Cleanup

[edit]

Can someone tell me what needs to be done to clean up this article? --Mzucker 18:42, 26 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Generally, when writing on a crime family or a related article, it should follow along the same lines as other crime family pages weither by naming convention (ex. "Gambino crime family" rather then "The Gambino Mafia") or by format (see Bufalino crime family). I've added additional sections, references, etc. so the cleanup issue seems to be resolved. Great work by the way! Feel free to check out WikiProject Organized Crime if you're looking for wanted organized crime related articles. MadMax 01:26, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You need to completely remove this article from WIKI. If you wish to, you can then re-post your original

Name

[edit]

I wonder if "Porello" shouldn't be "Porrello" as "Porrello" is the current spelling in Sicily. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.134.42.129 (talkcontribs)

You're right, it should be Porrello. I'll change it. Mzucker 14:14, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

incorrect fact about Angelo Lonardo's father

[edit]

The Wiki article states Angelo Lonardo's father was John Lonardo. According to Angelo Lonardo's statement before the U.S. Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations (Committee on Governmental Affairs), his father was Joseph Lonardo (brother of John Lonardo).

The statement says, "I became a member of La Cosa Nostra in the late 1940s but have been associated with the organization since the late1920s. My father, Joseph Lonardo, was the former boss of the Cleveland family." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.140.163.209 (talk) 06:30, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Active Years

[edit]

The opening paragraph states that active years were the beginning of the 1920s to the 1980s, but the sidebar states 1900s to present. 69.47.22.92 (talk) 12:47, 7 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Cleveland Crime Family stary needs help!!

[edit]

The page on Cleveland crime families is half right in most cases and void of key issues and factors thaat caused the wars. I say this because i was there as a kid. parts of my family were "beatarounds" or extended support services. i changed what i could but id like to discuss other factors and maybe shine light on new parts of the story. who says?? i do. i got proof and one person in this article walked me to my first day at catholic school. He one day may be lnown as a fighter for Clevelanders. He had his angles buf everyone on every block benefited. The Italian msfia were the catalyst for every despicable happening during this era. I hope they give Danny a statue one day. (after other parties are gone and the real story can be told. )

Ill end this with just a name; but a name that will one day change the entire sprawl of this alleged history. I Say!
