Naming
[edit]Does the article need to be called "Clark Kent (Arrowverse)"? Why not "Superman (Arrowverse)"? It's not like the Arrowverse has another Superman flying around. Leader Vladimir (talk) 22:58, 10 February 2022 (UTC)

Clark Kent (Arrowverse) → Superman (Arrowverse) – Why is the article titled "Clark Kent"? Why are we not naming it "Superman"? That's how people know the character as and how they like him best. I just don't see why do we need to use the civilian names for characters that are better known for their superhero code-names. For example, people know Anakin Skywalker as Darth Vader and Orion Pax as Optimus Prime. I don't see why should Superman be the exception to that rule. Comment. You might wanna move Black Lightning, The Atom, Batwoman, Spartan, Green Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl.Oppose. Characters in the Arrowverse are known by their civilian names. Showiecz (talk) 03:44, 11 February 2022 (UTC)- Oppose per Showiecz.--WuTang94 (talk) 06:56, 11 February 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose. The TV series character is much more Clark Kent on screen than he is superman. Even the people who know he is Superman call him Clark. This isn't the comics character. Gonnym (talk) 08:41, 11 February 2022 (UTC)
- *Oppose per Showiecz's display of precedent--CreecregofLife (talk) 05:47, 12 February 2022 (UTC)
- Strong oppose - This article should follow the established naming convention for Arrowverse character articles (see here), all of which use their civilian names. WP:CONSISTENT should apply here. InfiniteNexus (talk) 05:52, 13 February 2022 (UTC)
Revamp
[edit]Since the Clark seen in Superman & Lois is not the same as the one from Earth-38 or Earth-Prime (in short, the Arrowverse), can all references to pre-Superman & Lois be removed from this article and be transferred elsewhere? Preferably List of Supergirl characters (where Clark Kent (Arrowverse) should not redirect) or Superman (franchise)#Television. Kailash29792 (talk) 10:11, 1 July 2022 (UTC)
