[edit]I created this article, but I have research experience with a different Castilleja species in a different region, so there are limitations to my qualifications to write about this species. What I do know about Castilleja species:
- They sometimes play interesting ecological roles in their habitats due to their phytochemistry, hemiparasitism, and Multitrophic interactions.
- They sometimes have a tendency to hybridize with others in their genus, raising interesting questions about how species are delineated.
- They are sometimes of cultural importance to indigenous peoples.
If anyone has expertise with this species, or knows of sources that cover these topics for this species, and can expand this article, I think these would be great contributions.LRFtheLion (talk) 17:09, 2 May 2022 (UTC)
