First use of "Cascadia"

[edit]

I found on the library of congress a use of "Cascadia" prior to 1825 as mentioned here in "The term "Cascades" was first used for the Cascades Rapids, as early as the Astor Expedition. The earliest attested use of the term for the mountain range dates to 1825." The use was found in the English/German release of "Poems," in 1811 in "From Sister Dolly in Cascadia, to Sister Tanny in Snowdonia.." I am not super confident the use of "Cascadia" here was not just poetic license since "Snowdonia" is also here. Thought it should be mentioned however.
