Any sources?
[edit]Are there any sources that refer to "cap n ball" systems as Caplock? I've always heard them referred to as Percussion. --Philip Laurence (talk) 00:30, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
Overlap
[edit]The article has much overlap which Percussion cap. Anyone editing here should take care what information should go into which article. Maybe even a merger would be a good idea... --BjKa (talk) 11:17, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
There is also a lot of overlap with percussion rifle. I agree about a possible merge. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 53zodiac (talk • contribs) 10:38, 9 March 2019 (UTC)
Invention of Mercury Fulminate
[edit]The article says the caplock system was patented in 1807, but the link to mercuy fulminate says it wasn't used in firearms until after 1830. Is this correct? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.137.134.50 (talk) 14:05, 5 May 2014 (UTC)
