New Zealand case and recoveries mis-match
Currently, the actual COVID-19 recoveries shown by New Zealand are higher than the confirmed cases and it looks fairly confusing, I propose that we use the confirmed and probable case number for New Zealand and add a footnote.
- @Cairo2k18: You can inform Andykatib as he always update NZ. KRtau16 (talk) 11:11, 26 September 2020 (UTC)
- @KRtau16: I can update it as well, I just wanted everyone's input as it already says "Confirmed cases". Cairo2k18 • (talk) • (contribs) 12:04, 26 September 2020 (UTC)
- @Cairo2k18: Yeah. I agree with your proposal. KRtau16 (talk) 12:29, 26 September 2020 (UTC)

- Hi @Cairo2k18: and @KRtau16:, the reason why the number of recoveries in NZ is higher that the number of confirmed cases is because the NZ Health Ministry also counts probable cases separately in the official tally. As of today, NZ currently has 356 probable cases. NZ only submits the confirmed cases to the World Health Organization. Let me know whether we should also count the total number of cases including both the confirmed and probables. Andykatib 09:12, 27 September 2020 (UTC)

Summary table
Hello fellow Wikipedians.
In regards to the summary table that depicts the total number of cases, deaths and recoveries. Should we include territories and overseas collectivity of other sovereign nations or shall we stick with sovereign nations in Oceania?
Thanks. Atau (talk) 03:46, 9 June 2020 (UTC)
- It would be weird to suggest that the virus only affects sovereign countries. The table is currently only missing Hawaii, Guam and the Northern Marianas to be completed (for areas affected by the pandemic). Place Clichy (talk) 09:14, 9 June 2020 (UTC)
- @Place Clichy: Done I've added all territories and overseas collectivity of other sovereign nations. Feel free to update the table. Thanks. Atau (talk) 23:17, 9 June 2020 (UTC)
The figures for New Zealand were wrong. New Zealand reported both confirmed and probable cases. The figure in the summary table is the total including probables rather than just the confirmed cases. I have corrected the figure in the table but the graph was based on incorrect figures.[1]OrewaTel (talk) 22:22, 9 June 2020 (UTC)
