Merge proposal
[edit]Guidelines at Wikipedia:WikiProject UK geography/How to write about settlements state "Hamlets that are within another parish or council ward could have their own articles, but if there is no more than a couple of paragraphs that could be said about the hamlet it may be best practice to merge the articles."
Although Annington, West Sussex is in the civil parish of Bramber, a small discussion at Talk:Bramber#Merge Proposal concluded that merging Annington into this article would be more appropriate.
I propose that the Annington article be merged into the Botolphs article - this would just be converting Annington into a redirect to Boltophs as all the information on Annington is already included within this article. My personal opinion is that a combined article, where you can see all the hamlets on a single page, is more informative for the reader. ++ MortimerCat (talk) 20:59, 6 April 2009 (UTC)

- Discussion seems finished, so I made the redirect.
