Definition of political border?

[edit]

Not offered, and that renders the article almost useless.

What is the legal definition of "political border"? The UN probably has the relevant definition.

Do both sides need to agree on a boundary to make it become a border? Are de facto boundaries either of unrecognised states, or of states with unresolved territorial conflicts, "borders" under international law? So, is border a legal term with a precise definition, beyond its daily-use meaning? Arminden (talk) 08:24, 16 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
