Follow-up on the 2016 negativity
[edit]There was also a first-grade class in nearby Blaine, MN that had a letter-and-card-writing campaign to help him feel better. He visited that school in person to thank them: http://www.startribune.com/vikings-kicker-blair-walsh-meets-blaine-first-graders-who-sent-him-cards/365296091/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.118.163.130 (talk) 03:49, 15 January 2016 (UTC)

Walsh kicked the laces of the football and hooked the attempt wide left, and Blair lost the game 10-9.[10][11]. This needs to be changed to the Vikings lost the game 10-9, or Minnesota lost the game 10-9. Blair didn't lose the game by himself. It's a team sport and his kick was one of many plays that impacted the score. For example, if Peterson doesn't fumble allowing Seattle to kick the go ahead field goal then this play doesn't even matter. And how about the Vikings offense bogging down on 3 drives and settling for 9 points vs a possible 21. Add Blair Walsh was 0-3 in field goal attempts for the Seahawks vs. Redskins on 11/5/17. His attempts were wide left. These missed field goals cost the team a win dropping the team to 5-3. Seahawksfan17 (talk) 19:54, 6 November 2017 (UTC)
- Not done: This article is not a week-by-week journal of his performance, and your proposed last statement violates neutral point-of-view without a source. —KuyaBriBriTalk 21:14, 6 November 2017 (UTC)
- It's probably noteworthy enough, but it'll need to be worded more neutrally. Lizard (talk) 21:20, 6 November 2017 (UTC)
