"Anti-fascist"

[edit]

The article refers to the Black Lions as an " anti-fascist" resistance movement. Is there a good reason to believe they were ideologically opposed to fascism itself, rather than opposed to the Italian occupation specifically/generally? The cited source only refers to them as a resistance movement, and I'm not getting a good sense as to why they should be considered "anti-fascist" rather than "Ethiopian patriotic" or "monarchist" or some other motivation. Is there any reason to believe that they were specifically anti-fascist? Hordeorc (talk) 22:22, 25 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
