Relationship to main article

[edit]

This appears to be an offshoot of the page Bible translations into Native American languages. However, it is not nearly as well developed. One of the biggest problems is that a number of the languages listed here (Otomanguean, Mayan, Seri) are not South American languages at all, but are in Mexico and Central America. At the very least, these should be moved to the main page, which includes other languages of the same geographic region. Even better, it seems to me that the two articles should just be merged, i.e. all information from this page copied to the other one, which after all is titled to supposedly include all of the Americas. Then this page on "South American" languages could be deleted. Any guidance as to how to go about that would be appreciated. AlbertBickford (talk) 03:01, 21 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I see in the help on mergers that discussions of this sort should be on the talk page of the destination. So, I copied the above material to Talk:Bible_translations_into_Native_American_languages AlbertBickford (talk) 04:02, 21 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
