This article could use sources. --Fang Aili talk 21:21, 3 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"A former Foreign Minister of Germany Hans-Dietrich Genscher even made a bet that it was a German song. He lost.": This sentence means nothing as Mr Genscher never was an intellectual nor a very clever mind. He knew in fact nothing about music, literature, culture; he was a 100% politician. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.85.21.66 (talk) 16:37, 16 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"He knew in fact nothing about music, literature, culture" .. -> "This ... could use sources." 217.228.89.2 (talk) 17:35, 5 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
14 years later, the whole article could still use more sources. Morganfitzp (talk) 16:25, 3 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Isn't including the Czech and English lyrics a blatant copyright violation? —JerryFriedman (Talk) 22:13, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, if the article is correct on the dating of the lyrics. The copyright has not expired on either the Czech or the English version, and, of course, translations of the Czech are derivative works which can only be licensed by the original copyright holder. They've been removed. Including quotations of them for critical commentary would be within fair use and Wikipedia's non-free content guidelines, but reproducing the entire text is outside of our copyright policy. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:38, 23 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Removed the link to Roll Out The Barrell, because the link was forwarded to another site and my antivirus (avast) said that the site was infected with a troian horse virus. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 160.217.156.139 (talk) 11:14, 17 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This was a dead link (see WP:LINKROT) but it did not set off any alarms on my computer.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 11:22, 17 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Lists of appearances need chronologizing and citations. Morganfitzp (talk) 16:32, 3 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Serious problems with WP:SONGTRIVIA here. Even if true, saying "song x appeared in y" is not encyclopedic. A lot of this could go.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 08:12, 4 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
